Behind the flowers

We Fleurish | Galentine's Day Event

We Fleurish | Galentine's Day Event

#1 on my list of Favorites in 2018

In January, an amazing eye-opening experience took place.   In partnership with Karen Thornton of Avenue 22 events, Missy Palacol of Missy Palacol Photography, and Debra Prinzing of Slowflowers.com and DebraPrinzing.com, one heck of a good event was hosted!

Built on the foundation of bringing together a variety of creative minds across multiple industries, a gathering of 40+ women learned strategies on effective social media photography, powerful creative content writing, and insights within floral design.  Taking place at Fogo De Chao in Downtown Bellevue, many flourishing relationships formed including future collaborations and business opportunities took place over an excellent meal together.

For me, it was an amazing experience.  I felt honored to be in the company of such powerful, creative, and courageous women.

TAKEAWAY! If I could pass along one bit of advice for anyone reading this, it would be to look beyond your own respective industries for business potential.  Over the years, some of the BEST leads and above all knowledge have come from non-floral related conversations. Just because someone’s day to day is in, say the cell phone industry, it doesn’t mean they might not have valuable insight into how similar strategies could be applied in the world of flowers.
