#1 Designer's Choice
This makes perfect sense. A designer's choice is where customers will truly receive a one-of-a-kind arrangement designed just for them. For this arrangement, florists (that's me!) choose a beautiful combination of seasonal flowers for any occasion. Florists can usually get some idea of the occasion or reason flowers are being sent based on the card message.
I LOVE knowing the back story of why flowers are being sent. Not only do I love knowing why I'm making an arrangement for someone, I'll also try to customize based on that occasion. For example, if it's a birthday, I might choose bright and cheery blooms that set the tone to a celebration! If it's a get well soon, I might choose flowers that are softer and more soothing.

#2 Remembrance
While this arrangement is appropriate for any occasion, it's primarily been ordered for sympathy or condolences. All First & Bloom deliveries receive the best of care, but when it comes to the passing of a loved one a few extra steps are always taken. Sometimes that just means giving people their privacy and a little extra space.
Remembrance always includes a soft pastel color palette. This particular arrangement in the picture was actually taken two years ago. A perfect match is never possible. Yet, I always include a soft yellow or off-white rose. My favorite rose for this arrangement is called, "Candlelight." While it is sourced from Ecuador, I've learned it has an exceptional quality. The bloom is quite large and very long-lasting. It also has the most beautiful warm center like a candlelight.
The remaining flowers are typically whites and pale pinks. Since we are on the verge of spring, just this week I incorporated buttery yellow stock, white ranunculus, white freesia and white wax flower. Each week, the selection I have is different, which makes this arrangement worth remembering.
#3 Patricia
This next arrangement is near and dear to my heart. It was named after my mother. I love naming arrangements by influential women in my life!
My mom is actually one of the most creative people I know. She is incredibly artistic. She loves crafts, quilting, drawing, watercolor paints and more. While I get much of my creative side from her, my dad also has an artist side in his own way. Each holiday season, my mom sends out a Christmas letter to friends and family. I have always enjoyed reading what she has to say about the year, but what I love most is seeing what doodles she draws on the sides of the letter. She always draws some winter scene with kids playing in the snow or a wintery picture of a cabin in the woods.
Years ago, I realized I probably should have been saving these letters as a keepsake for the future. Luckily, my mom said she saved them "somewhere." Someday, they will be a beautiful collection of family history to pull out and remember each year.
